Our tradition of carefully crafting inspired, flavorful, ales of the highest caliber has earned numerous awards, a loyal following, and our two-time placement among the World Beer Championships® Top Ten Breweries of the Year.

Located in Boonville, California, in scenic, Mendocino County, Anderson Valley Brewing Company (AVBC) opened the doors to its brew pub in late 1987. Since then, we've grown a bit, built a new facility, and now brew our world-class ales in copper vessels salvaged from two defunct German breweries.

BOULEVARD BREWING COMPANY

www.blvdbeer.com

Founded in 1989, Boulevard Brewing Company has grown to become the largest specialty brewer in the Midwest. Our mission is simple: to produce fresh, flavorful beers using the finest traditional ingredients and the best of both old and new brewing techniques. We offer five beers year-round: Pale Ale, Unfiltered Wheat Beer, Lunar Ale, Bully! Porter, and Dry Stout. Watch for our seasonal beers: Irish Ale in the spring, Z?N in summer, Bob’s ’47 in the fall, and our winter holiday treat, Nutcracker Ale.
The Boulevard story begins in 1988, when founder John McDonald started construction of the brewery in a turn-of-the-century brick building on Kansas City’s historic Southwest Boulevard. A vintage Bavarian brewhouse was installed, and the first batches of beer were produced in the fall of 1989. That November, the first keg of Boulevard Pale Ale was delivered—in the back of John's pickup truck—to a restaurant just a few blocks away.

The popularity of our beers has since spread to thirteen Midwestern states. From Hot Springs, Arkansas to Rapid City, South Dakota, Boulevard beers have become favorites, known for their full flavor, distinctive character, and unsurpassed quality.

DESCHUTES BREWERY

www.deschutesbrewery.com

Deschutes Brewery, located in Central Oregon along the banks of the wild and scenic Deschutes River, has brewed handcrafted traditional ales since 1988.  Starting out as a small brewpub in the heart of downtown Bend, Deschutes’ first beers were Black Butte Porter, Bachelor Bitter and Cascade Golden Ale.

In 1993, Deschutes moved into its current brewing facility and has continued expanding and improving the facilities.  With a 50-barrel traditional gravity brew house and a new one-of-a-kind 131-barrel Huppmann brew system from Germany, Deschutes now creates and experiments with specialty batches of limited beers while brewing large quantities of everyone’s favorites like Mirror Pond Pale Ale.  Consistently producing the highest quality beers is always Deschutes’ number one priority and commitment.

DOGFISH HEAD CRAFT BREWERY

www.dogfish.com

The story of Dogfish Head began in June of 1995 when we opened Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats, the first state's first brewpub opened in the resort beach community of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The plan was to bring original beer, original food, and original music to the area.

Not only was Dogfish Head Delaware´s first brewpub, it was the smallest commercial brewery in America. Our very first batch, Shelter Pale Ale, was brewed on a system which essentially was three little kegs with propane burners underneath. Brewing 12–gallon batches of beer for a whole restaurant proved to be more than a full time job. When the doors to the pub first opened, we brewed three times a day, five days a week! The one benefit to brewing on such a small system was the ability to try out a myriad of different recipes. We quickly got bored brewing the same things over and over &ndash that´s when we started adding all sorts of weird ingredients and getting kind of crazy with the beers!

HALE'S ALES BREWERY

www.halesales.com

When Mike Hale, founder and president of Hale’s Ales, made the statement “The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing,” he meant it. Hale has remained true to this philosophy since the beginning of Hale’s Ales almost 25 years ago, and has committed to brewing nothing but the best quality, hand-crafted ales in the Northwest.

The vision of Hale’s Ales began in 1982 while Mike Hale spent a year bicycling among the small villages of southern England. In the course of his travels he developed a great appreciation for the traditionally brewed ales of England’s small breweries. It was then that he conceived the idea of opening a brewery in his home state of Washington to produce the kinds of ales he had come to love in England. Determined to learn the classical methods of English brewers, Hale sought out the very same small village breweries that had inspired him, in particular GALE’S BREWERY in Horndean England, and spent several months learning their trade and techniques.

After returning to the states, Hale established his first brewery in Colville, Washington. On Independence Day, 1983 Hale’s Ales released its flagship beer, Hale’s Pale American Ale, the first microbrewed pale ale in the Northwest and a top selling ale in this region ever since.

EMPRYREANS ALES

www.telesis-inc.com

It began with a dream that we could brew full-flavored beer in the great state of Nebraska. In late 1990 that dream became our state’s first brewpub, Lazlo’s Brewery & Grill. Since then demand for our beer has grown, so we expanded our pub and Empyrean Brewing Company was born. Today we still dream big even while we hand craft our beers in small flavor–filled batches. So enjoy an Empyrean beer, the taste of dreams come true.
