Function:
The Pneumatic Discharge Valve is used as the transition from the tube to the desired discharge location. It is equipped with a 180 degree air actuator which positions an inner tube to allow product to be conveyed through the valve or rotates the tube to allow product to be discharged out of the bottom of the valve. Multiple valves may be joined end to end or located throughout the conveyor system.

ROTARY VALVE POSITION SENSOR:
STAINLESS STEEL

Function:
The Rotary Valve Position Sensor is an optional component of the Pneumatic Discharge Valve (C00166SSA) that indicates whether the valve is opened or closed. The Prox switches can be connected to indicator lights, sound alert systems, and other electronic devices to indicate the valve’s position. AC (02046) or DC (02069S) switches are available for the sensor assembly.

DIRECT DRIVE UPPER FUNNEL:

Function:
The Direct Drive Upper Funnel is used to discharge product from the cable system. The funnel attaches underneath the Direct Drive Unit. The Discharge Valve Funnel (see next pg) can be attached underneath the Direct Drive Upper Funnel.

DIRECT DRIVE LOWER FUNNEL :

Function:
The Direct Drive Lower Funnel is used to discharge product from the cable system. The Discharge Valve Funnel attaches underneath the Direct Drive Upper Funnel Section, discharging product from a Direct Drive Unit.

CLEANOUT SECTION:

Function:
The Cleanout Section is installed in the conveyor line above the product delivery location. As the discs push product into the Cleanout Section, a 24-inch (60.96cm) long by 5-inch (12.70cm) wide opening in the bottom of the Cleanout Section permits the product to free fall out of the conveyor. To completely empty the system of all product being conveyed, the cable discs slide up and drop off a short plastic block. This action produces a side-to-side vibration in the cable and discs which shakes product off the cable and disc shoulders and out of the conveyor.
